Marine Peyre, a designer who breaks the rules of design A graduate of the Marseille School of Architecture and Fine Arts, Marine Peyre made a remarkable entry into the world of design in 2001 with her brand Cooked in Marseille. Her first silicone collection, inspired by the popular and joyful energy of the beach, unveiled pieces that have become iconic, such as the Expres'soft cup and the Lampoule light cube. Playful, innovative and instantly recognisable, these objects have crossed borders and found their way into prestigious venues such as Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Sketch in London, the Miró Foundation in Barcelona and the MoMA in New York. Based in Paris since 2011, she founded Marine Peyre Éditions in 2017, a company that embodies her unique approach to furniture: modular seating, 100% Made in France, combining comfort, freedom of use and creative audacity. Collaborating with major publishers such as Sokoa, Woop Rugs, Edito Paris, Procédés Chenel International, Furniture For Good, Pantone Universe and Moissonnier, she has confirmed her role as an essential designer, capable of combining aesthetic standards with a contemporary vision. Marine Peyre's world is distinguished by its freshness, freedom and sense of playfulness.

At the crossroads of art, design and architecture, her work explores expressive and colourful forms, dares to use atypical materials and focuses on modularity as a vehicle for sensory and uninhibited experiences. She creates objects that do more than just furnish a space: they transform it, bring it to life and invite experimentation. This approach has been recognised on several occasions by the FD100 by VIA award (2018, 2022, 2024), which rewards the international influence of French design. In 2024, her Éclair au Chocolat bench was added to the Mobilier National collections, an institutional recognition that anchors her work in the heritage of contemporary design. At the same time, Marine Peyre passes on her expertise and enthusiasm by teaching at ESDAC Paris and CY University. This is a way for her to share her passion and nurture the creativity of future generations, in a spirit of openness and transmission.
